Alien Abduction HDRI Environment Maps

I've been working on some HDRI (High Dynamic Range Image) environment lighting and reflection maps for when I'm creating alien abduction 3D works since I've been unable to find any online anywhere. Above is the results of my first IBL (Image Based Lighting) test. I'm not sure if I'm creating them corectly since they seem like they a shot using a reflective chrome ball or sphere to create a spherical environment. What I've been doing for mine is using Bryce 6 to create a panoramic view of some of my 3D model Flying Saucer interiors, and then using HDRI shop which is a freebie application you can get online. Forgive me not putting up a link to it, it's easy to find though. and turning those into HDRI reflection and lighting maps. Here is my result using my "Experience Room" 3D model as a basis for the environment and tossing in some Poser aliens for added detail.
I have another alien environment room I'm going to use that has more stuff inside of it, I might place poser aliens in it too, but I have not yet decided on that yet ;)

Number 12 Incident Project

Well, here is an uncomfortable project that I keep putting of for various reasons that are far to lengthy to get into here. But I've managed to start some of this project, well I nickel and dime it here and there whenever the mood strikes.

Here is my 3D rendition of the strange tools I saw laid out on a table, my original drawing done back in the late 80's is a little different, reasons being that as time went by I remembered little details like the absence of wires or tubes, although I think the "Device" may have been the only instrument that had wires but I rendered it without since they could always be added later if and when I ever become sure of that little detail.

Y'know... there is something VERY disturbing about seeing my drawing turned into a more realistic 3D image... very VERY disturbing!!
The "Needle Box" had a very strange lid that slid open somehow, although I could never see how it was attached, it just WAS and yet slid smoothly open.
The tool with the curved sort of wire comming out of the top was some sort of cutting tool, although how a thin wire-like tip could cut I do not know.
There was a strange spool of Gauze-like material.
"The Device" was some sort of scanner placed onto the back of your head.

Little Red V-3 Finished

Ohhhhhh the long sleepless hours are finally over, and my "Inspector Clouseau's Dreyfus twitch" is finally subsiding I've finished my re-creation of HEAVY METAL & D.HE's "Little Red V-3" comic. The original was hand drawn in Black and white, and well crazy lil'ol me just felt the need to re-do it just for fun in 3D with a lil help from photoshop for added effects It's in my "COMICS" section of my gallery on Deviant Art account if ya wana see the whole thing.
Hmmmm so what's next now eh...?? well now I just have to work on my "Robot's Last Supper" which is going to be a reproduction of Leonardo da Vinci's rendition of the last meal Jesus shared with his Twelve Apostles and disciples before his death. OooooNly done with robots and a bit of a comical edge... yes I fully expect to burn in the fiery pits of Hell for this one
